Salsa.me is a Web3 app with a focus on visual design and user interaction
Start-Up
Salsa.me is a Web3 app that adds on-chain context to messaging. POAPs are like “stickers” to verify who you met at events and which events you attended. Salsa.me seeks to implement a more “humanized” experience for web3 users. Created around the narrative that users are more than their web3 wallets - merging the web3 world with real life in web2.
Background
User problem: Web3 beginners find most apps dark, technical, and easy to abandon. They need a friendlier way to see who they met, which events they attended, and the POAPs they earned, without feeling like they’re only a wallet address.
The Salsa identity uses stickers as a key visual & metaphor for POAPs throughout its designs
Drawing inspiration from shapes, designs and colors of fruit stickers and price tags, the sticker palette uses simple shapes, stars and sparks.
What were we tasked with?

“As a beginner in the Web3 world, I find the Salsa.me app very easy to use, other web3 apps I end up abandoning because they are too intimidating. I really like how Salsa uses bright colors.”
